Who would’ve thought that Arsenal would only need 20 minutes to rip apart a Manchester United defense that had kept 4 clean sheets in 7 Premier league games? It was a dream fixture for the Gunners as they displayed both attacking and defensive qualities of the highest order. Last night the most ecstatic fans would be from Northern Ireland as they qualified for the Euro for the very first time, there fans explained it feels like the glory days of 80’s when Northern Ireland qualified for back to back two world cup’s of 1982 & 1986. Steve Davis there captain led from the front and netted two goals so this Northern Irish football generation can come out of the shadows of Spain ’82 and Mexico ’86 and make their own history in Euro 2016. Earlier tonight we saw Manchester United beat Wolfsburg in a nervy win at Old Trafford.
Wolfsburg drew first blood four minutes into the game as Max Kruse passed the ball to Daniel Caligiuri who finished with ease.
Juan Mata restored parity at the 34th minute after Caligiuri gave away a penalty. Chris Smalling won the match for Manchester United after pouncing on the rebound at the 53rd minute of the match.
